At Delta Chiropractic Center of Lansing, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic wellness care to our patients. Below is a sampling of the different chiropractic services we offer in our Lansing office.

Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques, including:

  • Pro-Adjuster - The Pro-Adjuster technique is a high-tech, computerized analysis and treatment system that useDr. Roost, A Lansing Chiropractor, Giving An Adjustment graphics a very specific, gentle tapping to correct spinal misalignments. This advanced adjusting technique fits well into a natural philosophy of spinal healthcare, while at the same time, being on the cutting edge of modern Chiropractic care. Without the twisting and crunching of manual adjusting techniques, this is ideal for post-surgical cases, advanced arthritic spines, and those who are uneasy with traditional Chiropractic adjustments.
  • Logan Basic - Developed by Dr. H.B. Logan, DC, this protocol is one of the lowest-force adjustive techniques. The technique is based on light, sustained force upon a specific contact point at the base of the spine. The Logan Basic Technique uses the muscular structure surrounding the sacrum as a lever system for balancing the entire structure of the spine. It is particularly effective for low back and pelvic misalignments.
  • Activator - The Activator Technique uses the Activator instrument to provide accuracy and consistency from one adjustment to the next. The instrument is a spring-loaded instrument that is used to ensure a specific direction of adjustment, and can be set to deliver force ranging from nine to 33 pounds per square inch. Before an adjustment is administered, leg length checks and isolation tests of joint motion are performed to identify which joints are to be adjusted, and these tests can be used to check adjustment effectiveness afterwards.
  • Gonstead - The Gonstead system was developed in 1923 by Dr. Clarence S. Gonstead. The Gonstead system utilizes a full-spine approach with heavy emphasis placed on accurate x-ray analysis and a 'Dr. Dail, A Lansing Chiropractor, Giving An Adjustment graphicmanual' hands-on corrective adjustment. This assists the chiropractor in the quest to find and correct the specific level of the spine that is causing the nerve impingement.
  • Graston Soft Tissue Technique - The Graston Technique is a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. It is a way of 'massaging' muscle, tendon, ligamentous, and other soft tissues to stimulate a healing response. The technique utilizes specially designed instruments to detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.
  • Cox Flexion Distraction - The flexion-distraction adjustive procedure and adjusting table were developed by Dr. James M. Cox, DC, and are based on a distractive (stretching) force supplied with a hand combined with table motion. The Cox table is designed to restore normal range of motion to the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal joints. Flexion-Decompression manipulation is a gentle, low-force adjusting procedure which works with the body's natural design to aid it in healing properly. Additional goals of the flexion-distraction adjustment include healing of the spinal discs, decreasing disc pressure, and decompressing inflamed spinal nerve roots. This technique is especially effective with disc problems, stenosis, and nerve impingement.
  • Diversified Technique - Diversified Technique is the first chiropractic technique developed by Dr. D.D. Palmer, DC. The focus, as with all Chiropractic treatment, is on restoration of normal biomechanical function, and correction of nerve impingement. In addition, Diversified methods have been developed further, allowing for beneficial applications in treating sports injuries and other injuries. Diversified adjusting of the spine uses specific lines of correction for all manual thrusts, allowing for specificity in correcting mechanical distortions of the spine.
  • Palmer Package - The Palmer Package is  Gonstead, Thompson and Diversified, and Toggle Recoil techniques. These are the core techniques taught at Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more beneficial than ever before. The team of physicians at Delta Chiropractic Center has years of experience in spinal evaluation and adjustment.  They are highly trained in all of these techniques and more, and will find the best approach to correct your spinal issues quickly, efficiently, and effectively.
